Here, Joanne delivers blankets to Evergreen Hospice.As part of the chapter’s participation in the Vietnam Commemoration, members served lunch to veterans, and presented pins to veterans of the Vietnam conflict.Chapter members collect postage stamps for veterans – a simple yet meaningful way to support our vets.Members helped clean up graves at the Bothell Cemetery – and had fun doing it!Members raised funds and gave generously to care packages sent to K9 troops and their handlers – the boxes here were sent to Syria.Juniors members (and Juniors at Heart!) made blankets for students at a DAR school, among other projects.Chapter monthly meetings feature an educational program on a range of topics from prohibition in Seattle, women’s fashion through the centuries, identifying antique photos, genealogy case studies.
